This year, Domino’s Pizza Enterprises – Australia’s largest pizza chain – celebrated 40 years in Australia. With over 740 stores employing more than 16,000 team members, Domino’s Australia is also the largest franchisee for the Domino’s Pizza brand in the world.

Massive Weekly Sales

Domino's Australia sells over 1.5 million pizzas and 7.5 million sides each week. The chain represents a staggering 50% of all pizzas sold out of home in Australia weekly, showcasing its dominance in the market.

Partnership with Meat & Livestock Australia

In a strategic collaboration, Meat & Livestock Australia partnered with Domino's for a joint promotion alongside the annual Summer Lamb Campaign. This successful initiative introduced a limited-time lamb offering, leveraging both brands' strengths.

Commitment to Australian Produce

Michael Treacy, Head of New Product Development & Innovation for Domino's Australia and New Zealand, emphasized the company's commitment to supporting local farmers.

Domino's sources ingredients such as wheat, tomatoes, and fresh vegetables from Australian producers, ensuring high-quality products for customers.

Success of the Lamb Range

The lamb promotion was a major success, with over 50 tonnes of fully cooked Australian lamb leg used, resulting in sales of over 500,000 pizzas and Meltzz. This offering accounted for nearly eight percent of Domino's total product mix, significantly boosting sales.
